Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Molecular AI. They are made up of two parts: the Key Terms below, which are specific to us, and the Common Paper Cloud Service Agreement Standard Terms, which are a widely used industry standard published by a third party. Together they form the whole agreement.
Key Terms
These fill in the variables the Standard Terms leave open.

| Customer | The individual or entity that accepts these terms. |
| Cloud Service | Molecular AI reads the structure of a data warehouse you already operate — a dbt project, SQL files, or a Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift or AWS Glue catalog — analyses it, and uses it to design and generate a rebuilt warehouse, together with related analysis, metrics, documentation and visualisations. |
| Fees | None. The Cloud Service is provided free of charge during the open beta. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before any fees begin, and you may terminate at any time before they do. |
| Subscription Period | One month, renewing automatically each month. Either party may terminate at any time, for any reason, effective immediately. |
| Governing Law | The laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction. |
| Notices | To us, by email to hello@moleculardata.ai. To you, by email to the address on your account. Notice is effective when sent, provided no delivery failure is received. |
| Limitation of Liability | The greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and (b) US$100. |
| Your data | Your warehouse stays where it is. We connect to it to read structure and run the SQL we generate; we do not copy or store the contents of your tables. What we do store is metadata about your warehouse (schemas, table and column names, lineage), the results of our analysis, the artifacts we generate for you, and your connection credentials, which are encrypted at rest. |
| Subprocessors | We use Anthropic (the Claude API) to generate and analyse. Warehouse metadata and generated SQL are sent to it; your table contents are not. We use Fly.io to run the service, Neon to store the metadata described above, Amazon Web Services for file storage, and Resend for transactional email. |
| Beta service | The Cloud Service is in beta. It may change, break, or be discontinued, and it should not be relied on as the sole system of record for anything you cannot reproduce. Review generated SQL before you depend on it. |
Standard Terms
The Key Terms above incorporate the Common Paper Cloud Service Agreement Standard Terms, Version 2.1, which cover the service itself, restrictions, privacy, payment, termination, warranties, liability, indemnification and confidentiality.
